How do I fix this??

Hi All,
In the past, when I opened Windows Explorer, it would open in a
split pane window. On the left was all the drives on my computer with a
little + sign next to them to expand them. On the right would be all the
folders.......

I used to be able to double click on C Drive in the left window and all the
folders on my hard drive would expand under that. But now I notice I don't
have the + sign next to the C drive icon. I have it next to all the other
drives (my cd drives and floppy drive) and now when I double click on the c
drive icon, nothing happens.

How can I get it to display the + sign again and list all my folders under
it when I double click on c drive????

Thanks

Greg,

In the properties for the shortcut for Windows Explorer:
Ensure the target is like this: %systemroot%\explorer.exe /e
Ensure the start in directory is like this: %windir%

If this is OK then check the Windows Explorer Toolbar has the "Folders"
option on it and ensure it is selected.

If this is OK then in Windows Explorer Click on Tools -> Folder Options ->
View tab -> Files and Folders Section: ensure the following option is
ticked:
Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folder list

If these suggestions do not fix the problem then there may be a fix at
