How do I fix my outlook time for appointments?

People send me appointments, but somewhere between their computer and my own
the time is pushed forward an hour. Someone will send me a Meeting at 2 PM
appointment, but my computer/Outlook will read it as a Meeting at 1 PM. What
do I do? My computer's clock is accurate.

Check your daylight savings time settings. This is a common cause of that
problem. Tools, Options, Calendar Options, Time Zone. Make sure the Adjust
for daylight saving time box is checked (assuming you live somewhere with
DST), otherwise, make sure it's unchecked.

Either you or your partner appears to have a mismatch in the daylight saving
time value, either in Windows clock or in Outlook's calendar.
