How do I reveal the original file name and location of the pictures I have

Hey Kev,

Once the presentation has been saved, this information is lost for embedded
pictures. Of course, linked ones are a different story.

If the picture has not been changed or re-sampled (optimized), you might be
able to do a search on your computer for files matching the exact size of
your PowerPoint picture's file, but that is a bit silly because you already
have the picture.

I guess this would be a lot easier to help you with if you told us more
about why you need this. If you need the path, so you can get the picture,
you may already have the picture. If you need it for other reasons, post
them and we'll show you what can be done.

Please remember to also mention your PowerPoint version.

Unless the picture file is linked to your presentation, you can't. The
picture file you inserted into PowerPoint is a copy and no reference to the
original is kept.
