How do I find IE6.0.2900?

DougS

I use ie6.0.2800 with W2000 Pro. Because a web editor (Trellian) will not
function properly with this rev, I am told I need to update to the latest IE6
-- the 2900 variety. I've looked at the MS download site but there is no
indication which patch or whatever will generate this version.

I tried downloading what appeared to be the latest rev, Service Patch 1, but
my system tells me it is already installed.

Advice?

IE v6.0.2900.xxxx = IE6 SP1 running in WinXP SP2 and cannot be installed in
Win2K, Doug; cf. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=164539

Either you run Trellian on a WinXP SP2/SP3 machine or higher (e.g., Vista
SP1) or you'll need to find an IE6 SP1/Win2K SP4-compatible web editor.

YW & thanks for your feedback. (Too bad Trellian Support couldn't tell you
the same thing! <w>)
