How do I find deleted subfolders?

I created a subfolder twice in my Outlook 2003 program for personal emails
which needed to be kept for a while. Twice I lost them. The + sign just
disappeared under the Inbox folder. I don't know how I did it. They appear
to be deleted! They do not appear in the deleted folder list either. A
search does not show the PST files as existing either. I even did a system
restore and no change! Help....

I will give it a try and see. My problem began only recently. I tried to use
the"move to folder option and though it listed the subfolder on the menu when
it opened... when I clicked on it.. it said "not available"! I never had
trouble with sub folders before.. The search for the pst files was what I
tried to do when they disappeared. I searched the hidden files and folders
as well. It said they weren't found. All I have done recently; otherwise, is
to install a spyware program. It all seems to connect to that...
