Look for an archive.pst file and move that to the new laptop. Then use
File->Open to access the .pst file.

I have a similar, but may be different case. I always keep a backup of my
outlook files. My computer crashed and had to be reformatted. I reloaded the
files back to where they used to be. It seems I missed backing up some
file(s). I expected that all the calender and address book data were resident
in the file outlook.pst. But that turned out to be a wrong assumption.

After reading your recommendation I tried to find any file named
archive.pst, but without result. Is the file named outlook.bak of any use? Is
there anything else one can do to get back the calender data? It is very
disturbing to loose such data. I have no other way to know what meetings I
have scheduled and names and phone numbers to those people. It ought to be
made clear where the different data reside in order to be able to plan
backups in the proper way!

Thanks a lot.
