How do I edit with a different font from the document?

I want to edit a student's paper in a font and color different from the
original document. I don't want to have to go back and reformat my comments
each time as they are defaulting to the student's font. Any ideas?

This sounds like a use for Track Changes. See

Alternatively, you could use Comments using Insert > Comment.


In either case, you could check out its use in a document of your own before
using it on a student's paper.
