How do I do an alphabetical sort on a list of names in word?

Word 2003 and earlier - Table - Sort
Word 2007 - Home tab, Paragraph group, button with A Z and an arrow.

(You don't need to make a table out of the list of names, just make
each name a paragraph, select all the paragraphs, and choose Sort.)
