How do I do a system recovery?

need to know how to do a system recovery. In essence
clean the hard drive and then restore all of the
programs. Please respond to this request.

Hi Gary

Why do you need to re-format and re-install XP? If you post your specific
problems, someone may be able to help you before you re-format/re-install.
