How do I disable ASUS PC Proble on boot?

Hi,
I would like to disable ASUS PC Probe from automatically starting
whenever I reboot my PC (Windows 2000).

I tried to remove the AsusProb.exe entry from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run in the
registry, but on the next boot, this entry somehow re-appears again...

I don't want to uninstall ASUS PC Probe, I still want to use it from
time to time - but how do I disable it from automatically starting
whenever I reboot my PC?

Start-Programs-Asus utility-Probe, under monitoring tab- click settings-
uncheck auto execute
