how do i delete blank last pages in Word

I have a one page document -- very simple: there is a one line title, a
return and a table. the table extends to the end of the page. There is
nothing else. There is a paragreph mark at the top of page 2. I can select
it but i can't delete it. It appears to be causing a 2nd page which is
unnecessary and blank. There is no little black square to the left of the
paragraph mark. How do I make the 2nd blank page go away? Thanks! mm

Delete the paragraph mark _before_ the one you see on the last page.
(Put your cursor at the top of the last page and press Backspace.)

There are a bunch of ways. You could adjust top and bottom margins just a
smidge. You could adjust spacing before or after paragraphs if you're using
that (for example, move to 11 points after instead of 12). You could format
the following paragraph as 2-point font.

I hope this helps.
