Uninstall Outlook and begin using whatever mail client you wish to use.

In Outlook, deselect its option to make itself the default e-mail
client.

In Internet Options -> Programs tab, pick your e-mail client as the
default.

In your unidentified e-mail client, enable its option to make it the
default.

Outlook isnt a mail account, its a mail handler/client , if its not opened
it will niether receive or send mail.
What mail client do you now wish to use?
