A file/folder in Access was created last year (2005) for our drawing number
index. How do I create a new file/folder (2006) and keep the same settings
of existing file? The drawing numbers needs to start over at #001.

Access doesn't use file/folders. It stores data in a database, in
which there are tables.

Could you explain the structure of your database, and what you mean by
"file/folder"? Are you (yuck!) storing data in the name of the .mdb
file?
