how do I create a rule to automatically delete expired messages

I want to create a rule to automatically delete expired messages in my inbox.
I have gone through the rules wizard, but can't find this option. Can anyone
help?
 
Rules only work during sending/receiving of the items. You'll need to use
AutoArchive for what you are trying to accomplish.
 
thanks, that's helpful - is it possible to use autoarchive feature
specifically on expired messages?

Yes, Archive and Delete Expired are separate AuroArchive options.
