How do I create a macro for Outlook 2007? Lost old in conversion

I cannot access my macros from Word, and can't figure out how to use Visual
Basic to create a simple line of text for frequent use in Outlook 2007.
Thanks!

Outlook has no macro recorder and will only run Outlook macros.

Your post tells nothing about what you want to do, so no one can help with
that. You can look at www.outlookcode.com for information on programming
Outlook, including macros.

In 2003, I had several macros recorded in Word, and just hit the Tools, Macro
buttons to access them in Outlook. I used this to quickly import several
messages I send regularly that have mostly the same text, and are just a few
sentences long. This provides continuity as well as speed.

I re-recorded them when we updated to 2007 (wiped them out), but can't
access them from Outlook anymore. lmf

Also - I tried to record a macro in Outlook, but it switched to Visual Basic
without even an open page, and I couldn't figure it out.

Sue - Thank you SO much. This is perfect - macros with a new name. Will
save me a lot of work. lmf
