-- Hej Ng

I hope anyone here can help me with this question.

I would like to get access to two pc's that is behind a wireless router from
the internet, using RDC.

the access is done from a pc running xp pro sp2, and so are the two pc's i
would like to connect to.

The wireless router has a static IP address .What do i need to do to get
through the router and contact one of the two pc's ?

Thankyou so far

best regards Kim Nielsen

One way is you can open multiple ports on the router, ie. one to each PC,
then call each individually using the unique port number for that PC...Here
are examples of that...

Another solution is to access your LAN via a VPN or SSH tunnel, only needing
to open one port on the router, and access each PC individually through the
tunnel. Here are some free solutions for that...

This is what I currently use to do that...

Is that static IP on your router on WAN or LAN side?
If both, then at least connection address is easy.
For two systems to be accessible, you have two choices:
1. custom RDP ports for a second (and next) remote PC. You will access them
using WANIP:customRDPportnumber
2. install VPN server, connect using VPN and use local (LAN) IP adresses of
remote PCs.

Here is how I have Tunnelier configured to access my two XP Pro desktops on
my home LAN...

http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/LAN/LAN.jpg

....via CopSSH and Remote Desktop...

Note that I use a 2048-bit private/public RSA key pair for authentication
(with a strong pass phrase) versus a password (strong or otherwise) for
authentication. I also use a non-default port for SSH connections into my
home LAN.
