How do I configure anonymous file upload in a form ??

Working in Frontpage 2003 - have added a file upload control to an existing
form on our website so that people can upload their CV - can get this to
work/upload only if the password for our webspace is entered - the option for
anonymous upload is greyed/dimmed out in the folder options.

What do I do - any help much appreciated.

Open the folder properties sheet (right-click the folder, choose
properties)
Clear the check box "Allow scripts to be run"
If your host allows it, the "allow anonymous upload" should now be
available, if not then talk to your host.
The above must be done on the live site - permissions are never
published.

Ronx - thanks for your reply - all boxes are greyed or dimmed out - my host
is British Telecom, one of the largest ISP's in the United Kingdom - they do
not support frontpage, although they run frontpoage server extensions - when
I mentioned these boxes were dimmed out and they did not know what I was
talking about. Have you any suggestions what I could say to them??

Thanks

What do I say to my host as the boxes are dimmed out and are unavailable -
they run frontpage server extensions but do not support frontpage - they are
British Telecom (BT) one of the largest ISP's in the United Kingdom.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Cheers

BT do not allow you to change the permissions, and FrontPage support
is indeed practically zero. All you can do is ask them to change them
for you - or find another ISP or host. I took the latter course, it
was much easier.
