How do I clear the history under Start>Run? If I type something vague such as
"C:\" and hit the history arrow the path to ever document or file I have been
to is displayed, and I am curious to know how to clear all of it, lots of
people use my computer and I like my privacy. Any help is much appreciated

This history is user-profile specific so other users won't see it unless you
give them your credentials to logon with.

Settings|TaskBar|Start Menu Programs|Clear

You actually have to edit the registry to get rid of that.
If you aren't comfortable with that, don't do it.
If you are comfortable, you must search for: MRU and delete the appropriate
keys
MRU stands for Most Recently Used

Yes it is, you didn't read his post accurately. You misunderstood his post.
He didn't ask how to clear his recent documents, he asked how to clear the
Start>Run dropdown dialog box, which IS done through the registry (or
possibly third party software?). But I don't supose you would know that.

Clearing the Recent Documents History clears Run MRU entries as well.

I'm thinking that you may wish to stop impersonating an, MPV and stop
passing yourself off as posting from Microsoft!
