How do I change the limit of 25 contacts per email

Don Sepanski

I'm a new Vista and Mail user. Previously I used XP and Outlook Express. I
run a racquetball program at the Farmington MI YMCA. I send racquetball
emails to about 200+ contacts during registration time for our leagues or
tournaments.

In the past using OE I could send emails to about 75-100 people at a time,
and this limit was established by my ISP, not OE (afaik).

Now I am only able to send an email to 25 contacts at a time, and not even
26. So now I have to send about 8-10 emails instead of the 4 that I used to
send.

I have looked in Tools|Options, and everywhere else I thought this setting
might be changed. I have not found anything.

Is there a way for me to increase the number of contacts I can Send to in
any one email.

Thanks,
Don Sepanski

Windows Mail does not have a limit. Any limit would be imposed by
your mail service provider.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the info. I found out how to fix the problem thanks to your
answer. It was my mistake in how I had tried to do what I wanted.

It was due to my not being familiar enough with how WM works compared to OE.
With OE when I clicked on the little button in the toolbar it brought up my
"Recipients List", but in WM it brings up "Contacts".

With WM I created a new All Racquetball Players A-F Group in my Contacts
list. This had over 25 contacts, and WM would not let me add this Group in
the "To" field.

So just now I opened a new email window and clicked on "To:" which brought
up my "Select Recipients" list. Then I tried right-clicking in the list and
that brought up the dialog box, and then I selelcted "New" then "Group". I
then added the contacts from my Contact Folder that contained "All
Racquetball Players A-F". I then created an "All Racquetball Players A-F" in
my Select Recipients list.

Problem solved!!

Thanks for the info.
