How do I change emphasized text back to black?

I have emphasized some points in PowerPoint in red. The point changes to red
when I click, then when I move to the next point, it changed to red when I
click. This is what I want, but I would like for the previous point to
change back to black when I move the next one. Is this possible? If so, how
do I do it?

In the custom animation pane double click the entry for the emphasis animation

Choose Effect Tab and change "Don't Dim" to the black colour you need
