How do I apply a filter for a subreport that is used in a report?

I created a report / subreport that is supposed to be based on a PO # that
you are prompted for.

On the main report, the records list according to the PO you input. All is
good.

However, on the subreport it lists records with different po #'s. So how do
you get the subreport to post records based on the po that you input for the
main report?

Look at linking the Master and Child for the main and subreport, this will
restrict the subreport to the same PO#

Thanks Fons, but are you talking about linking the Master and Child PO #, and
if so, how do I do this?

Okay "Tugger"
Open the main report in the design view.
Open the properties window from the View menu.
Now click once on the subreport window.
Look at the properties window and if needed select the data tab, there you
should see the Link Child Fields and Link Master Fields.
When you click in the fileds to the right of these labels you'll see the
little box with three dots. You can click there to select the available
textboxes for the link.
