How Can You Tell?

If you arrive at a clients, and they have no documentation, how can
you tell what level of RAID they are using?

Go into the RAID Controller Setup and look at it.

Contact the hardware manufacturer to find out what is the most flexable and
convenient way to do that. The available tools and techniques may vary.

If the controller is a separate "card" in the machine then you need to
contact the card manufacture if they are not the same company the rest of
the machine comes from.
