Does anyone know how to create a map of the US to represent data? For
example, I want to show percentage of participation in the military by state
population with the states shaded to correspond to data range.

Thanks much.

There's a program called MapPoint that does this (not sure of cost). It's now
a standalone program but used to be included as an optional addin with Excel in
... don't recall exactly ... Office 2000, perhaps?

Otherwise, you might need to insert a US map as clip art, ungroup it and
manually shade the different states.

I think you can also do this with BusinessObjects Xcelsius. The output from
Xcelsius is a Flash object though -- but Xcelsius automatically places it in
a PowerPoint slide for you.
