How can I uninstall an incompatible or corrupted program

I installed Vista today, I used custom install rather than update to get rid
of old junk in my computer.Installation of Vista was perfact and clean.

But there was no audio, so I installed Creative Sound program and driver
which came from Dell with my computer.

Now Vista is saying that the Creative sound files are corrupted.
I tried to uninstall thru Safe mode using control panel but I could not
uninstall the program because it is not compatible or corupted, anyway I
couold not uninstall it and I used restore program but it did'nt work. The
command com might be the lasr resort, but I am not confident.
Please someone advise me to uninstall this program from Vista. T.A Jinsoo

Have you tried the newest driver from Creative on their website from 1/12
and see if you can write over the one you have that is corrupt. Have you
tried to uninstall the drivers from Device Manager (also delete checked).
With Dell, they have a record of putting hooks in the drivers they provide
so it may not work, but worth a try.

The devise manager did a good job removing the uncompatible Creatove blast
and its drive. Now I will try new Creative blaster.
Thank you very much John.
