How can I split audio track to match clips?

Hi. After ripping a dvd I let the DVD2AVI and VFAPI apps create a
"fake" frameserve avi file and its corresponding but standalone wav
file. MM2 imported the avi file just fine. Since the avi file didn't
have sound, I had to import its separate wav file onto the music
track. The problem is that I wanted to delete a few clips at the end
of the avi but couldn't figure out how to delete the corresponding
audio from those clips since the audio was importes as one whole
non-subdivided track. Is there a way I could force MM2 to split the
audio according to the clips splits? Thanks.

I don't know how to force an automatic exact split of the WAV file, but
using the end trim point of the WAV file on the timeline should be
sufficient to hide the part of the audio you don't want.
