How can I restore the "from label" to my inbox?

When deleting items from my inbox, I inadvertently clicked on the "from"
label and deleted that along with the junk mail and now can't restore it.

Is there something I've overlooked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

View > Current View > Customize Current View > Fields... > add the From field
there. Click OK until you're back to your Inbox.
