How can I reaveal parts of a slide in a powerpoint show?

I just want to be able to reveal each sentence on the slide one at a
time....how can I do this? In the current slide show it just reveals the
whole slide at once. Please help!

Do you mean the bullet listing?
Open the custom animation, in the task pane where the animations are, you
will see an effect, where there is an arrow pointed down. Click on it so that
all the effects will be shown. Hold down shift and click on the 2nd effect
and click on the last effect. Change the Start: "With previous" to on click
or After previous.

If you didn't see any dropdown arrow which is below the first effect, then it
is animating as one object.
To resolve this, right click on the effect, click Effect Options. Then click
Text Animation tab.

In the Group text:, change it to "By first paragraph" and click OK.
