how can I print handouts in powerpoint with no space around the sl

I know there is a way to print slide handouts from powerpoint so that the
slides take up the entire page and there is no white space surrounding the
slides. This way the slides are as big as possible and text is easier to
read but I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. It would be
extremely helpful for printing off notes from class.

If you just print your presentation and select "Scale to fit Paper" from the
print options, will center your slide to the page, giving you an approx 1/2
inch whitespace border

If you mean to print one slide per page, then choose Slides rather than
Handouts in the File, Print dialog box; then as Michael's mentioned, click Fit
To Page. PowerPoint will make your slides as large as possible on the page
(limited by the printer's ability to print to the edges)

If you mean to enlarge the slide images in, say 6-per-page handouts, it can't
be done other than Fit To Page making them slightly larger perhaps.

There are other ways of getting multiple slides per page, though. Your printer
driver may allow you to select multiple pages per sheet. Check File, Print
then select your printer and click Properties.

If it allows multiple pages per sheet choose that option and then tell PPT to
print Slides.
