How can I make my PC clock uneditable.

M

Magic27

We have Windows XP Sp2.

We want to run an attendance software. Is there a way to make the PC
clock not be changeable or the PC clock must be password protected for
changing.

We have to log in as administrators into all client stations, to access
programs on our server.

Thanks

Bob

That's going at it a bit backwards, honestly. I suggest you take the time to
fix whatever permissions (in the registry & the file system) that you have
to, so that your users have no more than limited user access - as well as
holler at the software developers who wrote the stuff that assumes they'll
have admin rights.

Anything you can do, anyone with local admin rights can likely undo.

Check out filemon and regmon (google - Sysinternals stuff recently bought by
MS).
