how can I make a whole Word document fit onto my screen

my word documents have suddenly started to not fit onto my screen. I have to
scroll across to see the ends of lines. How can I change the settings to
have it all fit back on again

Change the Zoom setting back to whatever it was (probably 100%). Maybe
you turned your mousewheel while pressing Ctrl.
