How can I get Word to Update my SubHeading Indexes?

Hi

I have a multipage document that includes Headings 1, 2 and 3. Heading 1 is like (1. <Title>), Heading 2 is (1.1 <Title>), and Heading 3 is (1.1.1 <Title>)

Is it possible to get Word to update these Heading Indexes if, say, I add a new section between 1.1.2 and 1.1.3, calling the new section 1.1.3 and getting Word to automatically change the ‘original’ 1.1.3 to 1.1.4, original 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 etc
