how can I get my calendar view to start at 8 am

My calendar view starts at midnight and lucky me I don't have any
appointments at that time. I would like my calendar view to start at 8 am so
that I can see more of the day on one page.

No I hadn't looked there but it doesn't achieve what I was looking for
anyway. I have already set my work day to start at 8. It is the view that I
would like to change. I did look in the view options and changed the times
to 1 hour increments to view more of the day but still have to scroll up and
down to see the whole day. If I could just get rid of the 12 am-6 am times I
could see a whole day on one screen.

Well i don't think you are going to get any more unless you change either
your monitor for a bigger one, or the resolution of what you have already...

In fact if I drag the tasks pane down, I can see 8 am to 6 pm...

So dragging the task pane down doesn't answer your "concerns"?

Adjust your view to see the amount of the day that you desire.

There is no way to suppress the non-working hours. With your work day start
time set, a view with a time scale will start with your work start time at
the top (although you can scroll back to earlier times). If you need to see
more of the hours later in the day, then you'll either need to expand the
Outlook window or decrease the resolution of the time scale; i.e., change
your time scale interval from, say, 30 minutes to one hour. My time scale
interval is 30 minutes and I can see from 7:30 AM until 10:30 PM on the Day
or Week view on my 20 inch monitor at a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels, with
plenty of room around the Outlook window to see my other desktop icons and
occluded windows.

how much you see is based on your time scale and window size/screen
resolution. If you use 15 min, you'll see less than if you use an hour. If
the screen is limited, it starts at the start of your workday.
