how can I disable the windows sounds

Who knows how I can disable the standard windows sound in the
configuration?!? In what component I have to disable the sounds?

thank for your reply! XP Sound Scheme component is already deaktivated but
still have some sound in the system a have to remove.

for example: "Blocked Pop-up Window" or "Information Bar" or "Start
Navigation"
