Hi,
I have set my ADSL connection to [never try to dial to Internet] in IE. But
when I am off-line, my Windows dialup program always try to connect to
Internet every a few minutes. How can I absolutely disable automatic dialing
up. Thanks.

Chances are you have something running that is trying to connect to the
internet and that it's not a Windows activity. What have you got running
with automatic updates? Do you have some sort of clock sync program? Do you
have some sort of malware on your system that's trying to call home?

Hi,Galen,
As mentioned in your reply, my computer is used as gateway, So some
service program must try to connect Internet. Thank you.

BTW:
Ramesh has shown me a answer. I post her/his reply below.

------------------------------------------------------------
Right click My Computer icon, choose Manage/Services and
Applications/Services
In the right pane, select Remote Access Auto Connection Manager and double
click
Use the Startup type drop box and choose Disabled.
