Try Malwarebytes anti-malware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Run them in
Safe Mode.

Hello Marcus & Mark:

Almost no reason exists to run MBAM in "Safe Mode" as "Normal Mode".
It's how MBAM's engine does its most good for an infected system.

However, *SAS* is often run in the "Safe Mode" right after running
MBAM in "Normal Mode". Spybot-S&D might not be effective for this
one, MBAM & SAS are better choices IMO.

I'd strongly recommend that /both/ MBAM & SAS be used for the above
trouble.

Marcus: a trojan is not a virus, nor is a virus a trojan, but they are
both malware. Please post a follow-up with your progress.

Good luck to all!

I downloaded microsoft windows malicious software removal tool, and run it,
after it scaned, there was one file infected, and recommended me to restart
the computer and run a full scan. and now it is still running. i do not know
whether it can kill the trojan.
Could you give me some information about what is MBAM and SAS ? Are they
free softwares ? Rising antivirus software is quite famous in China. And 360
Safe Guard is another famous malicious software tools.

Rising antivirus software (www.rising.com.cn) is quite famous in china, but
it seems that it does not work for the Torjan, but i have another well know
malicious removal tool "360 safe guard " (www.360.cn), and they can stop the
process but can not kill it.
thank you.

This is very sad. It means your computer's malware defenses have not
been strong.

MBAM and SAS are both antispyware applications. Both can be obtained
as freeware and can be later upgraded with a few more capabilities.

Unfortunately fame and reputation are two different things Marcus.

Rising has made notable strides. However, globally, Rising can not
compare to Avira's AntiVir, Avast, AVG and others. Perhaps this may
change one day.
And 360 Safe Guard is another famous malicious software tools.

Did it protect your computer?

Good luck to you.

Though I don't know that these CD's will work with Chinese systems and
languages, no identifiable rootkit or other malware can escape a Linux
Live CD, which doesn't depend on the hard drive to run. They run
strictly from RAM and can't be compromised by anything on the hard drive.

Burn BitDefender, or another program listed at the link below, to a CD
(using a working machine) and test the infected machine with it.
BitDefender also has a Rootkit checker on the Linux Desktop; run it if
you think that's the problem:

Download the executable rather than the .iso image.. it prompts you to
insert a CD and burns the file, no problem.

Then run these:

Malwarebytes© Corporation

SuperAntispyware
