How can I customize the default colors when saving a calendar as .

We are using the Outlook 2003 Calendar "save-as-a-webpage' feature to post
our school calendar to our school's website. We need to set the default
colors to match our website color scheme in order to reduce steps in the
workflow. It would also be helpful to be able to include a logo. Ideally we
should be able to set these prefs. so that our employee simple saves the
calendar via ftp:// and it hits the website directly with the colors (and
possibly logo) already in place.

Any help appreciated :)

The colors and design are built in the wizard, so setting prefs are out.

Colors are in a *.css - you'll need to change the css, make a copy and
replace the one outlook creates each time you publish it. Logos would be
added the same way - figure out where it goes and copy the code, then paste
it in. Unless you are good at scripting, I don't think you can do this in a
very automated manner - it's going to take some manual labor.

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear that this is hard-coded into the
wizard. My original solution was just what you described. After editing th
standard css we have one that can be dropped into the site to give it our
preferred color scheme. This does add significant time to the process and,
since the person maintaining the calendar is not an IT staff member nor a
webdesigner, I think an unnecessary opportunity for error. Being able to save
the calendar folder via ftp:// is nice but It would be even nicer to be able
to set these colors once and have the system remember them.
Thanks again,
