So, 30 minutes after I posted the same method,
John basically repeated what I had already said,
and now it has become "John's" method...
I'll have to remember to use my crystal ball
next time I post a reply, so I can give John
full credit in advance. ;-)
BTW, not only is "your" method more complicated,
it is prone to creating a discontinuity in the
video and audio, unless you are able to trim both
copies of the clip precicely to the same frame.
So "John's" method really is the only method.
