how can delet icons?

Please help me about how can i delet ( PAST ICONS ) in my taskbar,Because i don't want those items in my taskbar
i let you know what i'm talking about,when i click on propretiers of my taskbars,a window appear( taskbar and start Menu),then i click on customize,and i still see the items in my (Past Items),please how can i delet those items
