Hover Button not visible in FP Preview nor in IE Browser

Bill Dross

A hover button is simple to create, but yet on this computer that is running
Windows XP and IE 6.0, a hover button created in FP2002 doesn't work.

In FP preview, there is a box with the symbol for a missing graphics where
the hover button should be and the same appears when I look at it in IE.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hover buttons require Java Virtual Machine which can be
downloaded from http://java.sun.com
However, most people have quit using Hover Buttons
because windows XP / IE6 do not come with JVM installed.

I'll just add in that MS is no longer allowed to distribute
it so it will not be coming back.
If you really do need to use the hover buttons you can get
the current version of Java from Sun Microsystems or an
older MS version is included on AOL cds. I would do a
Windows update after that and they should give you the
latest MS version.
