Suddenly and recently, whenever I attempt to open my
email account, an error message comes up stating:
"Web Browser Software Limitations
Your Current Software Will Limit Your Ability to Use
Hotmail
You are using a web browser that Hotmail does not
support. If you continue to use your current browser
software we cannot guarantee that Hotmail will work
correctly for you.
We recommend that you upgrade your web browsing software
and invite you to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 6."
I used to just proceed and all works well. However, this
past Wed., I can no longer proceed most of the time, and
when I can move forward into hotmail, this message comes
up everytime I try to send an attachment. Finally, I
went to the download site, and attempted to download IE
6.0. However, when I then attempted to install the
download, the error message is: "We have found a new
version of Internet Explorer. Installation cannot
continue." So, I am in some kind of catch 22, that has
me shut out of my e-mail. I'd like to fix if possible,
but maybe this my que to move it all away from
Microsoft! Any help would be appreciated.
