hi. i know you can view your hotmail account in both outlook and outlook
express. im wondering if there is a way to set them up so instead of viewing
the email while it is on the site (what it normally does now), is there a
way to download them to my inbox, just like a pop3 account. i would like to
just receive everything in my inbox. thanx in advance for the help.

This isn't what the OP asked. The question was if there was a way to
download the e-mails like pop3 instead of just viewing what's in your
hotmail inbox .

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they
were a direct result of my fingers and brain not being synchronized or my
lack of caffeine.

This would require a third-party application similar to YahooPOPs
http://sourceforge.net/projects/yahoopops/. Search in
http://sourceforge.net/search/ for Hotmail or HTTP for some ideas.

Hotmail cannot be forwarded to a regular POP3 account from within Hotmail.
If you pay for Extra Storage, you may forward POP3 mail to your Hotmail
account.
