Horizontal Menu Bars

Hi,

When you use shared borders, and click on Top and Include Navigation
buttons, does that mean that you put the menu items in the banner or in the
main part of the page? Also, do you just type the names in that area and
then insert a hypelink as you would in the vertical menu bar? And then, if
you want to include drop down boxes from that horizonal menu, when do you add
those names?

With shared borders you can just set your menu and hyperlinks manually if you
want. Remember that there is an option to repeat each page with the same
borders, so if you open a new blank page, the borders will replicate the same
as the previous one.

At the very top of the page, above the content. Normally, the page banner
would also be in this area.

If you clicked Include Navigation Buttons then FrontPAge will insert a
navigation bar based on the structure you have made in Navigation View. You
do not type in your own links, except to supplement this.

You don't. FrontPage navigation does not support this type of menu. If you
wish to have a dynamic menu, do not use the FrontPAge navigation, and do not
tick "Include Navigation" when setting the shared borders.
Also be aware that using dynamic navigation bars in shared borders maygive
you some problems, such as JavaScript not working, and/or broken links,
unless you use external JavaScript and CSS, and use abbsolute links.
