My homepage has been taken over by a virus. Even when I
follow Microsoft's instructions and do regedit to get rid
of htt:\\cat$$$.da.ru, it still comes back every time I
reboot.
It seems that this is connected to a pornographic site.
Any suggestions appreciated.

First try using AdWare or SpyBot to remove all spyware.
