Homepage Hijacked By "i-lookup"

My homepage has been hijacked by i-lookup.com. I can't
change it and all these gay ass pop ups keep coming up. I
think they changed the registry in IE - anyone know of any
fixes? I appreciate it!
Thanks

had one route all searches to them,,, perhaps same one
might open your HOSTS file in a text editor and see if they've buggered it
up

Sounds like you have a BHO or Browser Hijacking Operation
your going to have to change it manually in regedit. Go to
run and type regedit, click ok. Next click the second
folder from the top and go to software/microsoft/internet
explorer

From here change
Searchurl(if needed)

Next go to (in the internet explorer still)/main

default page
default search
home oldsp
search page
search assistant
start page

Next go back to internet explorer folder then to Search
Change everything in there that needs to be

Next go to Search Url, also change things tthere is need
be.

You will need to do this in 3 different folders.
Current User
Local Machine
Users(under default not software like the others)

If you wish to prevent this I recommend the software
Winpatrol (download.com.com)

I had the JSNOCLOSE virus from something and it changed
my internet Homepage to passthison.com (dont go there)
and everytime I clicked on IE I got the virus all over
again, and it took me to porn sites. I figured it out
that it changed my direct homepage, so go to internet
options, and click default. Or type in what you want like
msn.com .

To remove the Toolbar: Use ToolbarCop:

Also, use Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) to scan for any other spyware.
* Update the pattern file first, using "WebUpdate" feature *
