Home Theatre PC

Hi.

My cousin wants to build a home theatre PC, and has the following
recommendation from a computer retailer, who is a good friend (prices dont
matter right now)
ASUS A7N8X DELUXE
2.4 G AMD XP
512MB Dual Channel RAM
120 x 2 GB Hard drives (SATA? PATA? RAID? IDE?)
DVD-RW
ATI ALL IN ONE WONDER RADEON 8500

What do you guys think?

I have never setup a RAID or non IDE system before, I have a P4C800 just
running one 80GB hard drive, performance (no tests, just from using) is
good, but I know I am wasting the potential of my motherboard, that was a
waste, but if anyone knows what else I can do on my motherboard, that would
be appreciated.

I'd go with a P4 system (or even a Celeron 2.4 GHz) and a 200 gig WD 8
meg cache drive and skip the RAID.
