Home Page keeps resetting to unwanted page

Recently, I got the same problem, except that the home
page is changed to "GlobalWebSearch.com" everytime the PC
is rebooted. Even worse, there is a tool bar which
contains the porno links is inserted to the IE's tool
bar's area. The "favorites" menu also contains the links
to the "adults" sites. I've tried to delete all the
cookies and temp files, reset the home.... But as soon as
I get online again, everything goes to what it was. You
can't even imagine that the advertisements at any sites
that you go to became the porno ads. It's such a headache
that I don't know what to do. Anyone got any idea how to
fix this?

I have had the same thing happen to me the other day. I
fixed it by going into the install/uninstall programs menu
in the control panel. It is a program that embeds into
explorer. Should solve it.

Thank you so much for your response. What's the program
name that you uninstalled? I've browsed the list in
the "install/uninstall programs", and could not figure out
which one to uninstall. I was going to uninstall IE and
reinstall IE. But I'm afraide that this is going to mess
up the Windows XP operating system.
