Home page is lost when reboot

Hello - My computer seems to have been hacked. Whenever
the computer is rebooted, the home page for Internet
Explore is reset to a porn site with a .ru suffix that
opens a dozen popup porn windows and usually locks up the
computer. I cannot open IE without it defaulting to the
site. Is there some way I can permanently set the home
page or how can I remove whatever code is causing the
reset with every start up?
