home page hijacking and unwanted favorite additions

Guest

At some point in the past, my IE Homepage has been hijacked to an unwanted website. I have reset it several times, but every time that I reboot, it gets reset to this unwanted website. In addition, other websites are added to my favorites. I continue to delete them, but they keep coming back with each reboot. Both Ad-aware seems to find the hijacking after the fact, but it can't locate the source of the problem

Any ideas?

stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a
