for some reason when the network was set up on computer the network places
are under the internet header
on the other three comps they are under the newwork header why?
also can't connect to the one with the internet header in the network
places, tells me that i dont have permissions.
did a lot of stuff what should the settings be? we are on a lan and have
dsl through a router

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component, frequently either
Norton Personal Firewall or Zone Alarm will do this.

Or look at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer, and
diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
instructions precisely (download browstat!):
