home network

For the first time in my life, I've just tried to make a home network (not
wireless) with two windows xp computers that are connected with a router. I
used windows wizard as I was taught first on one computer and then on the
other. Now I have the following results:
There are Internet connections on both computers.
Control panel sees network and both workgroup computers on the first
computer (windows xp home) only! The second computer answers (windows xp
pro) on the same request that "Network is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use the network resourse. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permition. The network pass was not
found."
When I try to access shared folders on first computer from the second
computer I get the abovementioned answer.
I tried reinstall the network several times and with no better results. I'd
like now to uninstall network to start from the start but I do even not
know how.
Your help will be appreciated!
